Problem Statement
The current tea vending machines do not give options for Indian Chai, most of them act like an electric kettle in which we have to add milk, water, etc. physically or they use premix for the preparation of different teas.
Brief
To provide a rich experience of different types of authentic Indian Chai through a single machine for a small corporate setting. The machine should use raw ingredients instead of the premix and offer multiple flavours which can be customized as per the user in terms of water, milk, infusers etc.

Providing a rich experience of different types of authentic Indian Chai through a single machine for a small corporate setting.
The idea is to set the user in their comfort zone by invoking their sense of smell and taste via the touch of a button that transports them to a place which has the best tea according to them.
The machine uses raw ingredients instead of the premix. It offers multiple flavours and can be customized as per the user.
Based on the selection done by the customer, the pumps add that ratio of milk and water to the brew basket. The ingredients such as infusers, tea leaves and sugar are dropped in the brew basket using a mechanism created by a servo motor and the number of ingredients is preset as per selection
The milk and water are heated using a submersible heater while the tea is stirred using a motor. Then the tea is dispensed using a valve which has a detachable strainer. To clean the brew basket of the chai maker, a preset command is present.
The time that was taken by the prototype to make cardamom ginger tea was approximately 7 minutes.
